Marissa is a director and editor with a B.A. in film production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
In 2016 she selected for a fellowship in the inaugural Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund in Film and
Media Studies Documentary Incubator program at Johns Hopkins University.
She has created multiple award-winning short films (Warner Brothers Film Award, Fusion Film Festival
Finalist) and worked in distribution on the feature documentary Nursery University, which premiered on
Showtime. Marissa currently works at a content creation group in Baltimore, MD where her commercial
work has won multiple Telly Awards for editing and visual effects.
