Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Romereo Hartfield began his journey in the radio and records business working with the legendary Quincy Jones at Qwest Records. Romereo has also held such titles as, Director of Marketing & Promotions for Geffen Records, Senior National Director of Warner Bros. Records, Southwest Regional Promotions Manager for Interscope Records, and Southwest Regional Promotions Manager for Sony/Epic Records, to name a few. Rob Neal says, “Romereo Hartfield is well-deserving of the IBBA Young Entrepreneur Award. He has contributed a great deal to the radio and records business by successfully handling radio campaigns for top artists such as, Eminem, B.o.B, Mary J. Blige, Mike Jones, Rocko, and hundreds of other chart topping artists.”
Presently, Romereo is the CEO and founder of Millennium Multi-media, a successful music consulting, marketing, public relations, and design firm based in Dallas, Texas. He is also the Founder of Big Star Productions, a thriving talent Management Company based in both Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. Some of the talent he represents include: Syndicated Radio Personality DeDe McGuire, Epic Records Artist, Slice 9, and Producer/Artist, Mouse on Tha Track, formerly of Trill Entertainment, who has produced tracks for artist such as, Lil Boosie, Webbie, Bun B, Rocko, and Young Jeezy, to name a few.
In 2007, Romereo Hartfield founded R&R Records. Under his extraordinary leadership he was successful at obtaining national attention for the artists whom he signed (R&B Group, RecognitioN and Rapper, King James II). RecognitioN was able to obtain a deal through Capitol Records, and furthermore both acts notably achieved thousands of radio and video spins gaining them and the label national and international fan bases and media attention.
